Security Lighting Service

Kay Electric Cooperative offers an array of services to their members, which includes, but are not limited to:

Rental Program:
(1) 175-watt mercury lamp installed on an existing meter pole and connected to an existing service line for $7.50/month. This includes the electricity this light uses, as well as any maintenance on the light.
(2) The above light installed on an existing pole other than your meter pole costs $10.50/month.
(3) KEC members can also buy a security light for a very competitive price (including installation). This light belongs to the purchaser and they are responsible for the maintenance and electricity the light uses.

Electric Water Heaters: Kay Electric has an electric water heater rebate program. Kay Electric members who are building a new home or addition and purchase an electric water heater for the new home or addition, or who are converting from a gas or propane heater to an electric water heater may quality for a rebate of up to $300. (Sorry, tankless water heaters do not quality.) Call the business office at 580-363-1260 or 1-800-535-1079 for more details.
